A
selection of backgrounds and photographs from India, Mexico and
San Francisco, all from the remarkable collection of George Berticevich
in San Francisco. The exhibition looks at the 'environments' selected
for representation of the self in studio portraiture, and the implications
of the uses of pastoral/urban landscape and other backgrounds.
Guest curated by Mark Sloan.
